Technology Plan – Explain steps that will be taken to protect hardware and software. Also point out locations where backup equipment will be used, if technology is destroyed.

Records Backup – Identify who is responsible for backing up critical records, including payroll and accounting systems. State on and offsite locations where back-up records including a copy of this plan, site maps, insurance policies, bank account records and computer backups are stored. Provide a contingency plan to be carried out if accounting and payroll records are destroyed.

Personnel Emergency Contact – List all staff and their individual emergency contact information.

Annual Review – Give the date when this plan will be reviewed and updated, along with any additional remarks. It should be reviewed at least annually, and modified if necessary.
