Our Philosophy
  •  Atmosphere - It is our philosophy to provide a warm bright educational atmosphere where children of all ages will be able to grasp developmental milestones through play and hands on learning experiences. At Fruit of the Vine we set the tone of the environment as a high priority being that children learn better when the environment is conducive to learning.
  • Relationship - As educators we know that trust must be established between child / teacher relationship and we insure this is done by nurturing the child from the first visit. It is important that our families feel welcome to our facility and are seen as extended family.
  • Learning Style - Each child learns at an individual pace and individual style, it is our goal to observe the style and implement the appropriate learning technique based on that need.
  • Curriculum– We strongly believe that children learn best when they are relaxed and at play so we incorporate many leaning activities based on child observation. We also encourage lots of child directed learning while leaving small slots teacher directed learning.
  • Differences – Differences between one another is embraced and expounded upon through activities, crafts, books, role play and other experiences to insure that our students respect others that are different than themselves.
  • Discipline – Positive redirection of energy is set into place as well as supervision during our day. Appropriate behavior is fostered by helping children to control their behavior and work out differences through talking and thinking it out.
  • Faith – We are a Christian owned and operated facility that incorporates Christian principals and beliefs into our curriculum through prayer, books, and songs.
  • Community Resources– We actively involve staff, parents, and students in the community resources through handouts and activities that revolve around community awareness.
